2008 - Year of the Black Man - Obama Creams McCain!

2008 - The Year of the Black Man - Obama Will Cream McCain!
2008-06-04 20:06:23 by Chuck Campbell, aka, Bold Evangelical

With the final results of the Democrat primaries completed and the Super Delegates lined up behind BarrackHussein Obama enough to assure his historic victory over the other contender for making history as the firstfemale (and ex-first lady) to gain the nomination of a major political party, it’s now clear that the battle of the old white RINO and young charismatic liberal socialist African American will result in 2008 being the Year ofthe Black Man (or African American for those of you who are too PC to say “Black Man”).

It is my strongly held belief as a conservative, pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-family, pro-creationism vs Darwinian Evolution believer that there is no way in God’s green earth that that old white guy, who wouldmake history as the oldest first term President if he proves me wrong, can beat the young, in-experienced, eloquent and charismatic black man named Barrack Obama if his life depended on it, and it may because 72year olds drop dead everyday of much less rigorous stress than running for President.

The national mood is that the masses are upset and tired and frustrated with the economy, the scandals and the long-drawn war on terrorism. Most Americans care more about the price of a gallon of gas or milk thanthey do about who is the next President of the United States of America. They vote on headlines and wholooks and says the best sounding sound bites on radio and TV. Barrack Obama is the perfect candidate for the superficial thinkers and hurried voters who just tune in about two weeks before the national election to find out who is the “kindest, handsomest or most willing to give me entitlements to get my vote candidate onthe TV or radio”. Some go further and read internet blogs to get their spoon fed opinions and reasons to vote for a particular candidate, regardless of what is the real truth about that or any candidate.

My daddy used to attribute this quote to Adlai Ewing Stevenson, Illinois governor (1948-1952), two-timeDemocratic presidential nominee (1952, 1956), United States who lost twice to Dwight D. Eisenhower (a man whom’s name is born on the USS which I served upon while in the USN): “Never overestimate theintelligence of the American voting public.” Or put another way “The masses are @**#*!” Americans havegrown fat, greedy, self-absorbed, material focused and intellectually lazy when it comes to voting…a perfect recipe for Obama and the socialist press and news networks to win in 2008.

What can McCain do to counter all that? Well, he’s got a war record and a beautiful trophy wife…and that’sabout it. The press and news networks will cream him for Obama and the old salt will fight like a man for his political life, but at the end of the day too many God-fearing, social conservative, First Amendmentsupporting, free-speech advocates, who are pro-life even when it comes to the funding of killing embryos forscientific research, Evangelicals and conservative Catholics will not leave the comfort of their home to go against their consciences to vote for the old man who sold us out with McCain-Fiengold, McCain-Liberman,McCain-Kennedy, McCain-Edwards, et. al., McCain is no conservative, no social conservative and certainly a Republican In Name Only (RINO).

I was barely 18 when I voted for Ronald Reagan, Reagan again; George H.W. Bush twice; Dole onceholding my nose; and George W. Bush twice. But John McCain, I don’t have a big enough hand to hold overmy nose while voting for that old salt who would sell out his own party and the American people’s rights, towin popularity with the media.

Obama’s base is excited, some a little retarded and most greedy socialists who want their piece of the pork that the Democrats promised them. With one notable exception: the African Americans who do not careabout his socialist, anti-baby, pro-Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender agenda will come out with great hopeand pride for the first African American who has aspired to become the most powerful man in the world. And, if not for my social and religious convictions, I would not blame them one bit for voting for one of their own.America could withstand eight years of Bill Clinton and we can withstand four of Barrack Obama.

Our founding fathers gave us a very resilient Constitutional Republic and we can survive four to eight years of any one leader regardless of his political or social stripes. What’s McCain got to counter that? He is a war hero. I do respect that. He would probably get us intoanother war with Iran or China within the first 120 days of office. He wants Ronald Reagan’s mantle so bad he can taste it. “John McCain, the man who defeated communism or jihadists in his presidency.”

Of course along the way, McCain will wreak havoc upon, dismantle and destroy the social conservative and Christian Evangelical and Catholics, and perhaps even the fiscal conservative legs of the Republican Party in his ascendancy and the Democrats will ride to victory with Obama in 2012. He beat Hillary, who else couldchallenge him for it in 2012?

No, the best thing for American is for Obama to do his four years and for the Republican Party to do some soul searching, self-assesment, determine who we are and what we stand for and then have a come-to-Jesus meeting with those RINOs and moderates who supported McCain (excepting of course the military hawks whom I can respect for supporting a military candidate) and reassert that the Republican Party, the party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush is the party of God-fearing Conservatives and we are sick and tired of those half-baked moderates who have risen to power because there were too many conservative candidates who divided our votes and left the only moderate with an R next to his name to win most states by a plurality until it was a fate ac comply that he would win against the last conservative man standing, Mike Huckabee…whom I hope is still around to clean up Obama or McCain’s mess in 2012.

About the only reason I could vote for McCain would be to defend America from the Communist and
Jihadists threats to our country…but I sure ain’t going out in the rain to connect those lines on the ballot and you will never get me to advise anyone else to do it nor to admit it in public.

Libertarians and BJ Lawson Threat to Conservatives

I too was impressed with the Libertarians' numbers and level of organization at the Wake County GOP Convention last night. God-fearing Christians Conservatives and Social Conservatives had better wake up and rise to the battle or licentiousness and hedonism with government approval will soon prevail in our society, if America survives the foreign threats long enough.
Since the Libertarians failed to get their own party authorized in NC, they have taken to an highly organized and energized effort to take over the Republican Party in NC. I have witnessed this at several GOP and other conservative and Christian events around Wake County.
Their local fair haired favorite son is none other than that eloquent and handsome, but deceptively dangerous, B.J. Lawson. Lawson, a GOP primary Candidate for US Congress against liberal Democrat David Price, claims if he went to DC that the two books he would carry with him are the Cato Institute's (Libertarians) Constitution and the Bible.
Remember, Jefferson owned a Koran, but despite what liberal Democrat Muslim Rep. Ellis may protest, Jefferson only owned it because he wanted to study his enemy because he was preparing to wage war against the Islamists of the Barbary Cost. That's why the Marine Corps hymn says "from the halls of Montazoma to the shores of Tripoli" where Thomas Jefferson (the idol of modern Libertarians) deployed the US Marines to defeat Muslim pirates and protect US interests and citizens abroad.
Back on the 1980's, while serving in the US Navy, I read Mikhail Gorbachev's Perestroika, but I assure you that I had no intention of becoming a Communist. In the same way, some politicians carry the Bible around like a letter of reference to gain the trust of Evangelicals. Christians beware!
I first met B.J. Lawson last fall when we were both at the NC State Fair. I was working the NC Right to Life booth and Lawson was ostensibly working out of the NC Republican Party booth, but was in fact working for Ron Paul, the Libertarian congressman from TX who had to join the GOP to get re-elected (after having run a failed campaign for President on the Libertarian Party ticket). While libertarians have some good economic ideas, they are very dangerous socially.
A couple of months later I began to hear rumors that Lawson was running for Congress. Subsequently, Lawson and I exchanged several email threads (which I still have archived) on issues from legalizing prostitution, to de-criminalizing drugs and bringing all US troops deployed around the world home.
The later an isolationist goal which is tantamount to surrendering the free world to the Communist Chinese and Russians and the Islamo Fascists Jihadists.
Read the rest of this story at my blog... and now the commentary continues...
When our founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence and wrote the Constitution, they were motivated by a Judeo-Christian worldview. This is a worldview that has long since passed from the mainstream American culture. Today, we are mostly materialists and post-modern thinkers. We do not respect or appreciate that there are absolute rights and wrongs. Unfortunately, this opens us up to all kinds of deceptions invented by mankind. Wisdom would council us to be more spiritually discerning. (Editor's note: See separate blog on the Southern Evangelical Seminary's Third Annual Conference on Spiritual Discernment coming March 28-29th in Charlotte, NC or visit www.SES.edu for details.)
The Constitution was written by Christian men who believed in a Creator and Providence who ruled over the affairs of men. They understood that the "laws of nature and nature's God" placed moral restraints on each citizen. Their idea of liberty was the Biblical concept that we are free from sin and death. Today's post-modern, pop-culture believes and tries to tell us that liberty and freedom are to do whatever feels good. This is the lie of the Devil. God has made us free, but that freedom is to choose to do right. Just because the God of creation, the Alpha and Omega, the LORD Almighty, whose name is Jealous, has given us the freedom to theoretically do wrong, does not mean that we have the right to do wrong.
Today's Libertarians, lead nationally by Congressman Ron Paul of TX, and in the 4th Congressional District by B.J. Lawson, want to remove the moral and social restraints placed upon us by our forefathers and mothers through moral and social laws to protect the innocent and weak from predators, temptation and sin. The purely Libertarian view today is that prostitution, abortion, gambling, pornography, drugs and all other personal behaviors that do not involve violence, should be legalized. Their god is man and personal freedom to do whatever feels good or right, or at least, whatever one chooses for themselves. This is hedonism. It's what God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for and it's the reason He sent the great Flood in Noah's days. This is moral and social anarchy and would be the death of Western civilization just as sure as Communism or Jihad would bring tyranny that would end our great Republic.
For two decades America has poured billions of dollars onto the Chinese Communist economy. They are using those funds to build a blue water navy that includes aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines and troop transport ships. The country that could put forward a 200 million man land army, can now project that power via the sea lanes. What's left of the former Soviet Union, is now Russia and they are reaping billions in profits from the high price of oil on the world markets. Russia is using this oil money to rebuild and reactivate it's bear bombers, nuclear subs and ICBM warheads. One of the largest standing armies on the world is Communist North Korea. Another country with aggressive military intentions, part of the axis of evil. Today in Iraq, Syria and Iran are vying for power and influence in a country that is still up for grabs politically. The Muslimization of Europe is fast becoming a reality. Europe, while no longer a Christian continent, is still home to some of America's strongest allies. There are many military dangers on the horizon for Western civilization in general and the US in particular.
It is in this season of hostility and while our US Armed Forces, thanks to eight years of Bill Clinton decimating it and a war that has stretched thin a force too small to face war on two fronts, the Libertarians lead by the likes of Ron Paul, and B.J. Lawson in the 4th Congressional District in NC, want to cut and run. They naively think that if we just abandon the rest of the world and bring all of our forward deployed forces home to the motherland, that the Communists, Jihadists and other tyrants around the world will just ignore us. That's ridiculous and most dangerous to our very existance. If the Libertarians formed a coalition with the Democrats in the US Congress and forced the Commander in Chief to call our soldiers, sailers, airmen and Marines home, it would be just to wait for the barbarian swarms to conquer the rest of the civilized world before turning their undivided attention to the only people left to conquer in the free world, the Americans. Our religious liberties are under assault by the ACLU, secular humanists, militant atheists and now the libertarians too.
I for one can not stand idly by and watch the future security of our country, my children and yours, fall pray to peaceniks who want drugs, free-love, abortion on demand and hedonism to prevail in the decline and fall of Western civilization and America. I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to speak forth truth and confront evil even when it comes smiling in a nice suite and says sweet words that tickle the ears of many otherwise good intentioned people.
Today's 10th Amendment libertarians tell us that the US Constitution is a precious and sacred document that we could not amend to protect the institution of traditional one-man, one-woman marriage. Many of them would rather opt to protect the sanctity of the Constitution over the sanctity of life of the unborn child. Our founding fathers were so convinced that the Constitution should never be changed that they made 10 changes before they would even approve it! The Bill of Rights is the guarantee of our personal liberties and restrains the power of government and the evil intentions of men. If freedom of speech rises to the Constitutional level of protection then so do marriage and life.
B.J. Lawson told me just last night at the Wake County Republican Convention that he would not support an amendment to protect marriage. I find B.J. likable and sincere, sincerely wrong. While it grieves me to put forth this thesis, I must remember to be true to my own children and their future as Americans and Christians. Christians must defend our liberties and the right to have moral restraints to protect our posterity, not our prosperity. Libertarians act as if the document is more precious than my marriage and yours. The militant homosexuals are deconstructing the institution of marriage and the libertarians are more interested in a charade about a document than protecting our children from being indoctrinated in the government schools that homosexuality is good. Looking to California and RINO Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signing of a law last Fall that mandates that homosexuality be taught as a legitimate lifestyle in the K-12 government schools of California, as the future agenda of this militant homosexual elite, we can count on our kids then being recruited by the pedophiles who can not reproduce and so they must prey upon our young to propagate their evil sodomite lifestyle.
Irish stateman Edmund Burke stated "All that is necessary for evil to prevail, is for good men to do nothing." The Reverend Martin Luther King. Jr. in a letter from an Alabama jail wrote "Morality can not be legislated, but behavior can be regulated. Judicial decrees may not change men's hearts, but it can restrain the heartless." God said "Thou shall not commit adultery." Our Judeo-Christian worldview demands us to stand for truth in the culture war in America.
Back in my Navy days when I served aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN 65) and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) I swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic and I believe that the zealots in the libertarian movement are just the ones we need to defend against before there is no moral restraint to stop any tyrant from taking over our great Republic when God's Devine hand of protection is removed for our licentiousness.

Why Huckabee Can Still Win

In the 1860 Republican Convention, William H. Seward of NY entered the convention with a plurality of delegates, but not a majority. Abraham Lincoln entered the convention considerably behind in delegates, but it turned out on the third round of voting, the dark horse candidate, Lincoln got his party's nomination and the rest, as they say, is history. Some have suggested that Lincoln won on the strength of his support from West Virginia, which wanted a strong candidate so they could take a stand for the Union.
Could history repeat itself in 2008? If neither leading candidate in the Republican race, McCain and Romney, can lock down a clear majority before the convention, we could have a brokered convention where, like West Virginia today, the candidate who comes with the most delegates, but not a majority, may not be able to get a majority and the most acceptable candidate could be the dark horse, Huckabee.
Today is Super Tuesday on America. There are 1023 delegates up for grabs in the GOP primary. It takes 1191 to win the nomination before the convention. There are 2380 total delegates in the GOP. At the start of the day the count stood:
McCain 93
Romney 77
Huckabee 40
Paul 4
If McCain continues to only garner 43% of the delegates, he will finish with 1034, not the 1191 required to be the nominee. The same applies for Romney and Huckabee, however, McCain and Romney both have much higher negatives than Gov Huckabee and for that reason Huckabee could be the most acceptable nominee at a brokered convention. His relentless determination not to surrender in the face of great odds, may pay off. It could just be that today WV gave Huckabee the spark he needs to stay in until the convention.
It is noteworthy that Seward was the candidate of the establishment and Lincoln was thought to be without experience in national affairs, twi significant factors with the country having a potential civil war looming. While not a man of great personal wealth, business success or even military experience, Lincoln turned out to be the right man for the job.

Gov Mike Huckabee is the only consistent social conservative. Huckabee championed and signed the Marriage Amendment and a covenant marriage law.
He supports the Human Life Amendment and Marriage Amendment. Both the Arkansas and Arizona Right to Life have endorsed Huckabee. The true pro-life candidate. Gov Huckabee fought for and signed several pro-life pieces of legislation:
The Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act (1997 Act 984)
The Fetal Protection Act (1999 Act 1273)
The Physician Assisted Suicide Ban Act (1999 Act 394)
The Woman’s Right to Know Act (2001 Act 353)
The Safe Haven Act (2001 Act 236)
The Choose Life Specialty Plate (2003 Act 344)
The Human Cloning Ban (2003 Act 607)
The Right to View Ultrasound Test (2003 Act 1189)
The Right to Receive Nutrition & Hydration (2003 Act 1322)
The Parental Consent for Minor Abortion Act (2005 Act 537)
The Unborn Child Pain Awareness & Prevention Act (2005 Act 1696)

Gov Romney initiated so-called homosexual marriage in Massachusetts, campaigned pro-abortion and banned the Boy Scouts of America from the 2002 Olympics because they are “intolerant” of the homosexuals. This reported by a pro-family group in his home state: http://massresistance.org/romney/

When neither leading candidate, McCain nor Romney bring a majority to the convention and neither can get a majority at the Republican Convention because they both have high negatives and neither is truly a social conservative, then Huckabee, the most acceptable, and true conservative, the social conservative, family values conservative will win just like he did in WV today! Lincoln was a man of faith when his country needed him, it seems another man of faith may yet get the GOP nomination.

What Would Wilberforce Do in 2008?

Many of us saw the 2006 movie Amazing Grace starring Ioan Gruffudd as the 18th-19th century British parliamentarian, William Wilberforce who courageously and uncompromisingly took the leadership role and with his supporters was responsible for abolishing the greatest evil of his day in Britain, the horrific institution of slavery. What made his sacrifice even more amazing was that his position in society would have allowed him to go with the flow and enjoy the fruits of his station in life. However, he was not content to enjoy the comforts of this world when others suffered and he could take a stand for justice.

Wilberforce was passionate and focused as he faced a David versus Goliath battle for over 30 years against the moneyed and politically powerful mercantile lobby which made many wealthy or at least prosperous by the slave trade.
But being a committed Christian, he was motivated more by the fear of God than the fear of mere men. He made a lot of enemies because of his uncompromising stand, but in the end his courage lead to the abolition of slavery by passage of the Slavery Abolition Act of 1833. Wilberforce did not rationalize that the slave trade put sugar on the table at a reasonable price for English citizens or that it provided reliable jobs or a good retirement account for those who invested in it. He denounced it for the evil it was and used every fiber in his being to defeat it.
Wilberforce was a supporter of missionary societies spreading the Gospel, what we might call evangelism, and also a champion for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals…he was a man of passion for God’s Word and wanted justice for all of God’s creatures.

By contrast, it would take America another 32 years, 700,000 thousand lives lost in battle, an Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th Amendment to the US Constitution to end the evil slave trade here. It was a terrible price for our nation to pay because we lacked a statesman like Wilberforce to stop the evil of slavery. Could America be on the verge of another cataclysmic culture battle if a modern day Wilberforce does not appear?

If he lived in America in 2008, what cause do you think would arouse his religious and civic passion? Poverty, hunger, racial justice, or global warming? No, I believe that the answer is clear to the socially aware, intellectually honest observer. America is a nation that over 97% of the time for social and economic reasons for 35 years has put to death 1.2-1.6 million unborn babies a year by abortion. Over 50 million unborn children have been slaughtered by abortion. Their innocent blood cries out for justice. Like the blacks of England and pre-civil war US, the unborn have no political voices and no votes to defend themselves. Their dead beat sires engage in irresponsible sex, cast aside the object of their lust, abandon their children and pay to have them ripped apart in abortion mills to cover their sins! Women are lied to and told by Planned Parenthood, the largest killer of babies in America, they must kill their unborn to have equality with their brother. Meanwhile, we’re told it’s impolite to discuss abortion and we should focus on our retirement accounts.

The Republican primary of 2008 is another battle between David versus Goliath. It’s a battle between those on Wall Street and those on Main Street. It’s a struggle between those who would put their stock portfolio and Lexus above the cause of the least of these, on one side; and the selfless, religiously motivated for justice for the unborn grassroots social conservatives on the other. I am among the latter.

I’ve been a born again, evangelical Christian for 27 years and I believe Wilberforce would be in the US Congress or even the White House, but for sure he’d be crusading for justice for the unborn child and their mothers. Wilberforce had character and was a selfless and determined crusader for justice. He was a man’s man and a fighter. Today he would take a stand against the evil of abortion and rally ordinary Americans to the cause. Is there a Wilberforce in America in 2008?

Last week I drove to South Carolina for two days at my own expense to meet Gov Mike Huckabee in person. I met volunteers, mostly Christians but some just plain conservatives, from around the country DE, NJ, MA, IA, FL, GA, LA and NC, who came at their own expense because they believe in Mike Huckabee...money can't buy that kind of grassroots support.

I met a man who was what I expected and more. He's humble, articulate, cares about people and takes a stand for the sanctity of life (pro-life) and traditional
marriage. His message resonates with the common people. While taking a break from campaigning I visited a Taco Bell where a young man in his early 20's smiled at my Huckabee sticker and said "I voted for Mike" and Chick-Fil-A where two youngsters barely 18 also smiled and said they voted for Huckabee. I remember the last communicator to inspire people like this, it was the social conservative Ronald Reagan.

Mike Huckabee has a message that moves and motivates people to come out and vote for him. He inspires evangelicals and other conservatives to rally to his banner because he doesn’t just talk like a social conservative, he’s one of us. He doesn’t apologize for believing in creation, that even the unborn are created in God’s image.

More importantly, as Governor of Arkansas, with a liberal Democrat controlled state legislature he championed passage of the Unborn Child Protection Act and a traditional Marriage Amendment to the state constitution.

He also did a pretty good job of keeping taxes down despite court orders to improve public schools (which were 49th and after Gov. Huckabee are 8th nationally) while inheriting a $200M deficit and leaving a $850M surplus. The median income level in AR increased 50% under Huckabee. The budget only increased 48% in 11 years, while in the other 49 states the budget went up an average of 98%. In Arkansas, the income tax when he took office was 1 percent for the poorest taxpayers and 7 percent for the richest, exactly where it stood when he left the statehouse 11 years later. But, in the interim, he doubled the standard deduction and the child care credit, repealed capital gains taxes for home sales, lowered the capital gains rate, expanded the homestead exemption, and set up tax-free savings accounts for medical care and college tuition. I call that a fiscal conservative!

He also understands the importance of winning the war against the jihadists and controlling our borders. Mike Huckabee was the fist governor to appoint a home-schooler to the state board of education. He is the first presidential candidate ever endorsed the Home School Legal Defense Association. He was the first governor to have a concealed carry permit while in office. As governor he banned alcohol and tobacco from the mansion to protect his family. He’s conservative, an authentic social conservative.

Gov Huckabee got things done in a hostile legislature and he beat the Clinton
machine twice to get elected and re-elected governor. He even got 45% of the black vote. The Huckabee haters do not want you to know any of that.

Most Americans have been subjected to a jihad against the evangelical Huckabee from Wall Street sources like the Club for Greed (sic) which is funded by his political opponents, or the elitists Washington insiders with their well paid radio talk show hosts with rival campaign talking points and with books to hawk.

The elitists and Wall Street crowd are embarrassed by socially conservative Christians. But, they need us just as much as we need the hawks and fiscal conservatives to win elections. Huckabee is our chosen conservative, a social conservative. "Populist" they call him deridingly. Popularity wins elections!
Read or watch the videos of Huckabee for yourself, check out the Truth Squad at www.mikehuckabee.com

Many of us in the evangelical movement came to the GOP under Reagan because he was a man who promised to fight for a Human Life Amendment to the US Constitution. Gov Huckabee is the only consistently pro-life social conservative candidate who supports the Human Life Amendment which Reagan championed.

But, where are the so-called leaders of the values voters, or pro-life, pro-family conservatives when brother Mike is attacked? Today in America, social conservatives seem to have a shortage of what C.S. Lewis called “men with chests” in leadership. Too many pastors and leaders of evangelicals and conservative Christians, including Catholics, seem to be sitting on the fence awaiting the outcome of a battle for the heart and soul of the conservative movement. Perhaps they’re afraid of losing their tax exemption or even their popularity with nominal Christians for engaging in politics. Well, I am a bold evangelical. They should not fear man who can kill, but fear the one who is able to destroy their soul after death. It’s not about politics, it’s about morality and restraining evil. There’s a culture war. Which side are you on?

I have earned the six figures incomes and drive a late model Mercedes Benz. I have voted for the Republican nominee my entire life, but lately in light of the rhetoric and politics of personal attacks aimed at Governor Mike Huckabee, a Southern Baptist minister and fellow evangelical Christian, a man who turns the other cheek when politically attacked; I am questioning the value of supporting a party that puts money ahead of the sanctity of life when it lists the qualifications of a conservative. Do I wear my religion on my sleeve? No, I wear it on my chest! For us, it’s not the economy, it’s the right to life.

The Huckabee haters are much the same as the Bush bashers spewing out poison about him not being conservative enough on taxes. They would inflict the death of a thousand cuts by their lies. Well their candidates are not conservative enough for values voters on life and family values!

It is time for social conservatives to stop equivocating about our commitment to end the slaughter of the innocents of Roe versus Wade and protect the traditional definition of marriage. The pilgrims came here for religious freedom not to build Wall Street. No man can serve both money and God.

Don’t be fooled, money can buy access and the ability to deliver your message to an audience, but it’s grassroots activism, conversations over coffee and votes that win elections. Prayer is a good place to start, but calling or emailing ten family or friends or telling your Sunday School class is a great way to counter the propaganda of the elitists against our brother Mike Huckabee.

What would Wilberforce do in a fight like this? Stopping the killing after 50 million unborn slaughtered and marching to victory with the social conservatives is what William Wilberforce would do in 2008. How about you?
